Riding the Needles Highway in the Black Hills National Forrest

Posted by on October 6, 2011

It’s not all that interesting, but I wanted to share the scenery. It does get interesting at about the 3 minute point where we ride through the needle tunnel. This place was amazingly beautiful and at first I was kind of upset that it was paved. But, as I rode on I realized that the paving brings so many more people out to see sites such as this – and that can only be a good thing. I hope you enjoy the video.

Thanx for taking me along for the ride through the Needle Tunnel, that was great! I’m curious though, is it so narrow that it would keep Hummers out?

I don’t know how wide a Hummer is but the tunnel is 8 feet and a few inches…
